I have this thing about losing my keys. “Put them in the same place every time,” they say. If I could do that, I would not have this problem in the first place. “Put them on a hook.” I got a hook, but again, if my brain functioned properly and enabled me to be consistent about where I put them, I would not have this problem.
I’m pretty good about my main keys (office, DD, house) because of the big Infiniti fob and because I use them all the time - can’t leave the house without them. So I never have to backtrack too far.
The Vespa has been in for service, and its been too hot to drive the Sunchaser, so I haven’t picked up that keychain for a few days. They are here somewhere, but I have no idea where.
I’m resigned to this brain malfunction.
Are you psychic? Perhaps you can point me in the right direction.

I do the same things. I left them set out a few years ago and for the life of me I couldn’t find them in any of the normal places.
The kids got ahold of them and placed them under the seat of the mater as shown:

This is why I often wind up using carabiners to hang them off a belt loop or something else I can hang things off of.
Now, to sort out the rattling...
